India is essentially an agro based economy. Our products use the sheaths which would otherwise add to agro waste. This directly ensures additional income for the farmer. Further we generate employment opportunity for the local residents in our manufacturing facility.
We believe in creating better working conditions with fair wage / price for our employees and Suppliers. Developing & promoting these kinds of products from natural sustainable raw material is in a way a process of conversion of waste to wealth. In the process, we enhance the preservation of mother earth from pollution & landfill.
SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT
We promote and support rural based organizations who collect and bundle the raw materials after drying. The demand for good quality raw materials is constantly increasing. Our Cluster development activity basically aims at improvement of socio-economic condition of rural community and leveraging the available resources to meet the market demand. One of the objectives of this development program is to uplift the people living below the poverty line by providing self-employment through income generating activities, to provide employment to rural persons and create a better living standard among the community We at Green Path Industries, provide employment opportunity for about 100 families (Directly & Indirectly) who are getting benefited by the cluster development program.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Our manufacturing process requires skilled and trained operating personnel. We consciously employ women in our facilities and provide them with adequate training. This ensures that women contribute to increased family disposable income which ensures and promotes better living standards for their families. Currently, women constitute more than 80 percent of our operating personnel.
FAIR TRADE PRACTICE
We always engage in providing fair wages to our employees and ensure that the workers in the entire supply chain are getting the same. Also, the safety of our workers is given high priority and our factory is equipped with all safety features and complies with the Government rules and regulations. We do believe that a happy workforce is a key to the success of any organization and we strongly follow the same.
